- The roaring 20's was a large era for the u.s. Today I will talk about three of those events starting with automobiles
- Automobiles started with the travel of many people. and car sales grew rapidly during the decade. lowering the prices drastically.
- but we can thank the industry to henry ford the man who made the ford model t one of the highest selling car in the 20's.
- Now the 18 Th amendment happens and the united states goes through a no alcohol period called prohibition.
- of course there were ways to get alcohol and that was speakeasies.
- but most people didn't care they just wanted a drink.
- speakeaisis were high risk places for drinking and you could get in big trouble for being caught.
- Now women of the 1920"s this is the year's they got the right to vote and they got anew change of clothes.
- we want to vote too!
- and a new fad came the flappers which is were women showed more skin and dressed newly with shorter skirts.
- And dance marathons became a very popular thing were hundreds of men and women would dannce.
