This isn't the first time this has happened. Brown v Board represents 4 other cases were Blacks were denied into white schools. Blacks and Whites education has always been separate.
The case finally reached the Supreme court where they finally questioned whether it was constitutional or not to keep the separate but equal clause.
On May 17, 1954, the court ruled that the separate but equal rule was unconstitutional and blacks and whites can now finally attend the same schools.
