- "If you give me the apple I will give you wealth, power and honor."
- King Peleus and his wife Thetis had their wedding and they invited all the Gods and Goddesses apart from Eris for she was the Goddess of Discord so wherever she went she caused trouble.
- Bribing Paris
- "If you give me the apple I will give you supreme wisdom."
- "If you give me the apple I will give you a beautiful wife."
- But when no one was looking she threw a golden apple onto the table which had written on it to the fairest. Immediately Aphrodite, Athena and Hera three goddesses fought over it.
- Helen's Beauty
- "Who are you and where have you come from."
- None of the Gods would decide so they went down to earth and demanded a boy named Paris choose.
- Running Away
- They all gave offered him bribes but when Aphrodite told him that she would give him a beautiful wife he forgot the other two and gave the apple to Aphrodite.
- "I choose Aphrodite."
- A while later Paris heard of Helen, a mortal girls beauty and just had to see it for himself so he travel until he found King Menelaus fortress.
- "I am a kings son, Paris by name and I have come from Troy far across the seas."
- Paris soon fells in love with Helen. He asks her to sail away with him while her husband was out hunting. Helen at first was very hesitant but soon gave in and ran away with Paris..
