A very long time ago, a pair of twins were born. One boy and one girl. The only thing considered truly odd about them was their bright green eyes, which led their village to believe they had been chosen by the gods.
When the twins were old enough, they left their small town to explore the world. They learned of sciences and art beyond their people and shared their advanced knowledge in turn.
Upon their return, a massive feast was held. However, in just the span of a few weeks, a sickness started to spread. Many people became ill, yet the twins were somehow unaffected.
In a desperate plea, the woman prayed to the gods for an answer. After many days and nights, she regained knowledge of her past life. The woman was the human incarnation of the Mother Goddess, who created the world and humanity.
With this new information, the twins got to work. Using all the strengths of architecture he'd studied, the man organized the city to separate the healthy and the sick. The woman called for the construction of a large bath, where she used the cleansing power of water to heal the sick.
As quickly as it had appeared, the sickness quickly vanished. The woman took on the role of Head Priestess, while the man was made their first king. Under their combined rule, their small town grew into a massive city.
