On page 169, Turner reveals to Mr. Stonecrop and his parents that he wants to give Mrs. Cobb's house to Lizzie. Mr. Stonecrop doesn't approve. This is memorable because Mr. Stonecrop and the rest of phippsburg starts seeing the Buckminster family differently.
On page 178 Turner gets locked into Mrs. Cobb's house. He heard a voice say, "Strike three, you're out." Turner banged on the door to find that it was bolted. This is memorable because Malaga island was on fire and Lizzie and the Eastons were being taken to Pownal as Turner was being locked in.
On page 183, the sheriff and the minister shove each other. Sheriff Elwell lets go of Reverend Buckminster and he goes over the ledge. The last thing Turner saw was his father's eyes. This is memorable because Turner saw his father almost die.
