- Max introduces himself, as well as Freak and the Fair Gwen moving in next door. He is bossing around the movers, telling them to be more careful ith his things,
- Climax

- The principle tells Max about his dad being on parole. Max doesn't react well, freaking out and hiding in the corner. Also, Gram and Grim have an unusual yelling fight.
- Falling Action

- Max and Freak go over to find Loretta Lee and Iggy after finding Loretta's stolen purse. They realize that Iggy is leader of the Panhandles.
- Resolution
- I'm sorry, honey bun.
- Max's dad, Kane, chokes Loretta and Max. There, Max has a flash back about Kane choking his mom.
- Everything is good right now. Freak and Max are having adventures and still being Freak the MIghty.
- Freak passes away one night, leaving Max very sad and ending the story.
