Near Baja, Sully and Scoot are sailing when a huge wave hits. Line 71 ".....he did not see the giant wave that had crept up silently behind the Sea Dog."
The wave hit, Scoot is trapped and in danger. Line 106 "the doors where jammed." Line 105 ".....she was still inside."
They pounded on the boat to communicate, so that Scoot could find a way out. Line 223 "she was tapping! He pounded the fiberglass, yelling, Scoot, Scoot, Scoot...."
Scoot found a way out and was free. Line 371 "almost out of breath, she quickly pushed her body through and the Old Sea Dog released her."
Sully saw someone in the distace but didn't know if they could see him. Line 351 "A big sailboat, beating south came to Sully's view but was more that two miles away..... he would not be able to spot the Sea Dog."
Mark Stevens saw the Sea Dog and saved Scoot and Sully. Line 81 "came within a hundred yards.....and stopped to pick up it's two chattering survivors."
