- Before the peak of globalization, our earth was blossoming with wildlife, nature, and biodiversity!
- But the global demand for natural resources like lumber, water, and oil is rising fast. We are acting careless to our precious environment.
- 80% of the world's forests have been destroyed or irreparably degraded.
- As of 2016, we had 1.7 trillion barrels of oil left. At our current consumption levels, the oil industry will give us 47 more years of oil.
- Luckily, OPEC is committed to environmental protection and have launched a long term strategy to deal with these environmental concerns.
- Environmental Legislation will help us to protect our environment to a further extent by implementing new rules and laws.
- It is important that we all do as much as we can to preserve and protect our environment.
