Storyboard Text

  • They started their day by asking questions to the people living in town. First man was asked the opinion about the slum people. According to him they are not well dressed, full of slang. Then they went to other man , he said that the city people are isolating them.
  • They moved on and came to meet two young women. According to them people don't interact with them. The second woman said that there is wealth gap in India. But they won't like to stay there .
  •  To investigate more they entered the slum area and met one of the family. The people were happy to see them. The researchers asked them questions .They don't have a proper job, some wash dishes, clothes or cleaning the houses. Whatever job they does they gets a fixed salary without any incentives, increment or bonus. With the given salary they have to run their house. The house was too small, all the members used to sleep on the floor, without even a mattress.
  • Kids are happy with what they have. They play around in limit space.They often get sick because of the unhealthy environment, surroundings, unclean water and food. The researchers played cricket with the children. Two other men took them to a place where construction work was going on. They told them that they removed all the slums and started the construction . The two boys shared there experience on how they were avoided when they kids.
  • After that they met another family they said that Water facility is very poor. Sometimes they gets water after 4 days and that will be unclean. The water gets contaminated with drainage water. Thus they get ill by consuming the dirty water. cold, cough, malaria and typhoid are the diseases caused by this water. The lady prepared tea for them.
  • .At last they met Farseena , who is an NGO teacher. She took the initiative to teach the poor people especially the slums. She gave a message that money can never buy happiness. We must treat every one equally. All of them took a selfie and then left.
