Storyboard Text
- Nick Carroway is the the narrator . He lives next to Gatsby, He visits his cousin, Daisy, and her husband, Tom Buchanon. They are rich and very selfish.
- Gatsby dreams of being rich. He wants people to admire and respect him because of his wealth,
- Nick finds out that Tom is having an affair with Myrtle. Tom and Myrtle have a violent relationship. She is poor and married to a mechanic.
- Nick finally learns about his mysterious neighbor and his humble past. He learns that he has been in love with Daisy for years which is the only reason why he throws big parties. With Nick's help, Gatsby and Daisy are reunited.
- Daisy realizes that Tom doesn't actually love her so she leaves him for her original love, Jay Gatsby. They plan on starting a new life somewhere else so they decide to run away from the city. However, while running away, Daisy runs over Tom's mistress, Myrtle.
- Climax
- Falling Action // Resolution
- In the end, Gatsby takes responsibility for Myrtle's death. This results in Gatsby being shot by Myrtle's husband, George Wilson. Daisy moves away and acts like nothing happened. Nick is heartbroken when this happens and decides to write a book about the Great Gatsby.
