- Good Day Vusi. I am the shop steward from Phezulu Views and I would really like for you could come to our workplace and educate our employees on your union.
- Morning Jackie. I would definitely like to come. Please do inform your manager and get back to me.

- Mr Allers the union organizer from NUM is coming to educate the employees on their rights and educate them on the trade union and the importance.
- Jackie I can not have working hours wasted. He can come only if it is after working hours or during the break!

- No problem Jackie. I will wait for them in the boardroom.
- Hey Vusi. I have set up the meeting with the employees, they will be joining you after work. I hope that is okay?
- The shop steward from Phezulu Views makes an appointment with the Trade Union organizer from NUM to visit her workplace in order to educate the employees on the union and their rights.

- The shop steward informs the manager on the meeting set up with the Trade Union organizer.

- I am also here to inform you on NUM as a trade union and the importance of joining a trade union especially our trade union.
- The organizer arrives at Phezulu Views ready for the meeting with employees and is welcomed by the shop steward.
- Vusi's Office
- Wow that's great news Jackie! Please do give them the union forms to fill in. We're happy to have them on board, we only have their best interests to protect.

- Vusi tells employees that joining a trade union advocates for the equal rights and equal pay of employees in the organization. Trade unions make sure to diminish any kind of discrimination in the workplace and make sure people working in the organization have a level of dignity and respect etc.
