- My village is burning, soldiers are chasing, and people are dying.
- I need to run faster....
- Get him! Round all Acadians up!
- You did not promise to serve the British Crown!
- Almost all Acadians were rounded on on ships, many got sick, hungry, or separated from loved ones.
- But we signed a treaty not to fight in war and not to serve your Crown!
- When Acadians got on boats, they either went to Boston, Louisiana, or escaped to the Mik'maqs.
- Who are they?
- I'm not so sure.
- Many Acadians had to find a job, get a home, provide food and water. There was many things to do.
- Who are these people? Oh well, probably poverty.
- Many Acadians wore filthy clothing, we were hungry. We were poor.
- Interesting......
- Then, we rounded them onto ships!
- A few Acadians escaped to the Miq'Maqs. But had trouble speaking their language.
- Hmm?
- The-the British! Took everything!
