Why I Chose These Scenes
I chose the previous scenes for this assignment because it starts with Iago's idea of getting revenge, which later leads to the unfortunate events portrayed towards the end. Iago sets up a brawl that causes Michael Cassio to be stripped of his title, and then encourages him to talk to Desdemona. When Othello sees Michael talking to Desdemona, this is when suspicions arise. The scenes after this all revolve around the handkerchief, which eventually leads to Desdemona, and later, Othello's, deaths.
