Storyboard Text

  • In a world where aliens (called "visitors)" live in contact with humans, something is about to happen in Oak Street, something starting right from the home of a family of visitors, who despite being welcomed as refugees are considered dangerous and mysterious aliens.
  • The young Sarai is a close friend of Max, the youngest member of the visitors family in Oak Street. She's arguing with her brother Brian (JB): She wants to spend the evening with Max, but her brother thinks that the visitors are just dangerous aliens, and doesn't want Sarai to date him. Sarai and JB’s parents agree with Sarai, and after dinner she goes to Max’s house to spend the evening with him.
  • Sarai is eating with Max on the patio of Max’s house, when her brother sends her a video: some men are attacking a visitor, and this shows the true shape of the visitors: a horrible and gigantic monster, with a grotesque shape, attacking the humans who were beating him until then. The video goes viral, and Sarai’s mother text her to go straight home, and she leaves, apologizing to Max.
  • Sarai’s family listen to the news, watch the video several times, discuss animatedly about Max, his friendship with Sarai and the true nature of the aliens, when suddenly there is a blackout. The whole family then decides to reach the outside, as all their neighbors are doing.
  • Everyone is confused and angry, they don’t know what to do and they argue with each other, especially with Sarai, since she is very close to Max. Anger and fear increase when they see that all the houses are in the dark, except that of Max’s family,. During the discussion, Max joins his neighbors, and offers them to stay in his home until the end of the blackout. Everyone refuses and is furious, except for Sarai’s family, who enters Max’s house, followed by the screams of the other neighbors.
  • As Max and Sarai’s family converse, the neighbors arrive in front of Max’s house, they make everyone comeout into the garden and threaten to set the house on fire with the torches in their hands. Despite threats, no one leaves the house, and Oak Street residents, led by Edgar Burke, begin to throw torches in the backyard of the house, which begins to catch fire quickly. The fire spreads, because of the dry grass, and hits all the houses in Oak Street, destroying the neighborhood. Sarai and Max’s family escape in time, leaving Oak Street completely on fire.
