The setting of this book takes place in multiple different places, this includes the prison, marketplace, and their apartment.
CLIMAX
The conflict begins with parvana and her mother when they walk to the prison their father was at after being arrested and they yelled at the guards demanding he gets released.
FALLING ACTION
The rising action in this story begins when parvana meets at the marketplace and she is interupted by the taliban because she is alone with no note from her father. she runs with bread in her arms and she is stopped by a old friend of her mother and they go to the house.
RESOLUTION
The climax so far is where parvana meets a old friend of her mother and they meet and go back to parvanas apartment, she tells her that her mom is not doing well at all and has been sleeping for a long time now. She stays and nurses everybody to full health.
The falling action is when her mother gets up and is back to normal but still is in deep depression over her husband being arrested.
The resolution is when her husband gets released from prison and they are back to how they used to live.
