  • When Jesus was born a bright star was above him. Many people came from all over the nation to see him.

  • The resurrection of Jesus Christ simply means like that power that raised Jesus from the dead and destroyed the grave, so also for the believer, the same power sets the believer free to live a new life that destroys sin in his or her life: a new life of victory over sin.
  • When news of this reached the Jews, they revolted again, only to be put down in 43 BC. Around 20 BC, the building was renovated and expanded by Herod the Great, and became known as Herod's Temple. It was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE during the Siege of Jerusalem.
