- After the seven year war England was in debt, forcing the british to start taxing the colonists to repay it.
- The French are falling!
- The taxes and now the killing of innocent civilians they have gone to far is what the colonist were saying. This moment was one of the factors for the colonists to create a rebellion army.
- The colonist were outraged with this act as well as the other acts but this act lead up to the Boston tea party which was crucial for America to get independence because it kickstarted the already growing tension between the colonists and British.
- Why are you making me pay so much for this tea! I don't even like tea!
- Haha its the new tea tax. Haha
- The Boston tea party was what fueled the American's tension with the British, and as punishment for this act, the British sent troops into Boston and created the intolerable acts.
- For the Colonies!
- The second continental congress was where they signed the declaration of independence which broke the colonist off from the British to form the United States of America.
