Alliance, Wilson's speech to congress, and the Zimmerman Telegram
Imperialism
The Sinking of the Lusitania impacted our country because it killed innocent children. It was so unexpected and happened to such innocent people that it almost affected us in a way that gave us another reason to go to war, by the way it enraged us.
Militarism
All 3 of these events are alike as they are proposals of alliances. The Wilson's speech of Congress impacted our country because it encouraged us to go to war. It claimed that we need to fight for our rights and liberties. Then the Zimmerman Telegram affected our country as the German were trying to make an alliance with New Mexico. This would affect us greatly because it was another country pinned against us at war.
Nationalism
Imperialism impacted our country because it meant total domination for one nation, and we were victim of it. If one nation had all power than we would all be under the same, unfair rule. We wouldn't be able to make choices of our own, and domination of the world would probably end in an outrage.
Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand
Militarism impacted our country because it required/encouraged people that they need to go to war. Many may not have wanted to go, yet they had to because of it. It changed peoples lifestyles and health by so much. It also provided some with a great deal of strength, gave people an outlet to be confident and pride for their country.
Nationalism impacted our country because it was incredibly important. If we didn't have nationalism we wouldn't have support, we wouldn't have united as a country. Nationalism gives the community a way to come together, while also creating a fiery competition spirit in them.
The Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand impacted our country because it set off outrages with alliances everywhere. These outrages turned into war declarations, creating World War 1.
