Storyboard Description

TITLE: "Postpone" AUTHOR: John Cedric Artugue SETTINGS: Mike's home and school CHARACTERS: Mike, Mike's parents, Classmate, Teacher, Mr. Smith PLOT:. The story talks about a boy named Mike who always procrastinates his homeworks. CONFLICT: Mike's English teacher and the Principal was annoyed to Mike by not doing his tasks. SOLUTION: Mike realized that he should haven't played games but he should've done his tasks or homeworks instead. CONCLUSION: Mike studied the lesson he missed and what they discussed all by himself to catch up on the lessons. OPINION: If you can do your tasks now, why do you have to put it off? You should never procrastinate your tasks. Always be prepared.

  • Mom, it is Sunday night. I would rather relax while I am home.There is plenty of time tomorrow.
  • Why are you playing games? Don't you have a homewok?
  • RISING ACTION
  • Oh my... I should haven't played games last night
  • Class, please pass your homework. After that, I will call someone to answer question number 1.
  • CLIMAX
  • You're supposed to study, do your homeworks and be prepared.
  • Mike has a lot of homeworkgiven by his English teacher last Friday.But he hasn't done it yet and feels like relaxing on Sunday night.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Why did he yell at me?
  • IN THE CLASSROOM...The class studied all weekend and was ready to pass their homework.Their teacher told them that she is going to call someone to recite.But when the teacher called Mike, he didn't answer anything because he didn't study last night.
  • RESOLUTION
  • It feels good to be prepared.
  • Mike is called in to the Principal's office.Mr. Smith is not happy and complaining about English class.Mr. Smith was so annoyed, he almost called Mike's parents to complain.Fortunately, he didn't call Mike's parents and just let him go home.
  • THEME
  • Hey son, do you want to play games with me?
  • While Mike was going home, he has a lot to think.He wishes he could blame someone else. But who?He knows that he has no one to blame but himself.Mike realized that he should haven't played games but he should've done his tasks instead.
  • When he got home, he quickly opened his books and began to write.At that time, he felt so happy as he studied by himself.Mike is now willing to learn and to change.It's really not that bad to do things now without procrastinating.
  • The lesson is clear...If you can do your job or tasks now, why putting off?Never procrastinate and always be prepared.
