- Everyone is silent for 3 hours, when Dr. Parker asks if anyone is hungry, Makenna wonders why JC is going to Curu.

- At the Soda Ines talks to Makenna

- A casado is meat, pork, chicken or fish, beans, rice, fried banana, and a salad they are popular at Sodas which are small cheap restaurants in Costa Rica
- At the Soda Ines talks to Makenna about her problems.
- Juan Carlos keeps so many secrets and always gets mad at me I think he is cheating
- He is also 11 years younger and that makes me uncomfortable
