- Oh hey Arnel, A disaster is a very serious problem occurring over a short or long period of time that causes widespread loss which exceeds the ability of the affected community or society to cope using its own resources.
- So.. how many disasters are there ?
- There are two types of Disaster. These are Man made and natural Disaster.
- Can you name some of the Disaster.
- Tsunami and earthquake are natural disaster while accidents and fire are man made disaster.

- An earthquake is the shaking of the surface of the Earth resulting from a sudden release of energy in the Earth's lithosphere that creates seismic waves.

- Natural activities taking place in the earth's crust, as well as surface, are the main reasons for naturaldisasters. while man made disaster are caused by human negligence.
