  • In this scene the three murders are going over their plan to kill Banquo. Macbeth gave them this job and as the king he expects them to go through with it since he gives them their duties. The murderers are preparing themselves for the act their about to commit so that they can stay loyal to Macbeth.
  • Banquo and Fleance are entering the area where the murderers are planning on executing the plan. The murderers hear the sound of the horses and make sure each other are ready for the plan. Banquo is asking for light rather than the torches that they brought with them to ride. The murder is about to happen.
  • In this scene the murderers were able to complete their mission of killing Banquo. The only problem is that Fleance ran away at the word of his father. Fleance was able to escape and the murderers are worried about what Macbeth might say since they weren't able to kill Fleance.
