- Allow me to present to you Mount Vesuvius, the catastrophic volcano which erupted in 79AD in Pompeii, killing over 16,000 people!
- Time period: 79AD, the day of the eruption.
- It was the day of the eruption, Pompeiians were living an ordinary day, in their simple, ordinary lives.
- I am having a dinner party. Care to join?
- Sure, I would love to!
- Suddenly, the sky became dark during daytime! The Pomeiians started to feel small vibrations on the ground. They knew something was wrong with the volcano but didn't know what to do.
- What do we do? Should we leave or stay?
- Disaster has now fall upon them as Mount Vesuvius has now erupted! Many people are now considering fleeing, however some think that this is God's punishment and they must accept their fate.
- This is surely the gods punishing us for our sins!
- Everyone is now trying to keep everything under control, even after many disputes and consolations. They all trying to figure out how and why this has happened.. Most people have now made the decision to evacuate. Unfortunately, some did not, and those tragically died.

- Even after thousands of years, Mount Vesuvius is considered one of the most deadly volcanoes yet. Today, it still remains active and its last eruption was in 1964.
