- It's Iris and Richards wedding day. Hopefully marrying him can help save Norval;'s business and to financially secure Laura's future.
- After there wedding they have a daughter and stay happily married for many years.
- One day while Laura was out she found a boy named Alex and fell in love. Her and Alex started to date low key.
- When Richard found out that Laura was dating Alex he blackmailed her and raped her.
- Laura learns that Alex has died in the war. Immediately she kills herself.
- After Laura passed away Iris finds her sister's journal and learns that she had been blackmailed and raped by her own husband. She is horrified at his actions so she takes there daughter and leaves Richard.
