This scene is important because this is when Montag witnessed someone commiting suicide for the first time. You can see his life changed when he decided to steal the book from the lady's house and take it home with him to read.
The city gets blown up and war starts
This scene is important because this is when Montag's life started going downhill. Beatty kept on mocking Montag and it seemed like he wanted to die. This is when Montag finally snapped and decided to burn Captian Beatty.

This scene is important becuase this is when Montag was finally safe from the hound and the police. Montag wanted answers from the Hobos' about books and how to understand them and that's exactly what he got from Granger and the rest of the crew.

This scene is important because after everything happened a war starts for no reason. 2 jets decide to go by and bomb the city and start an atomic war. The city turned into rubble and ash but Montag and Granger hopes it would be reborn.
