Storyboard Text

  • I can see something far away. What is it?
  • That is the International Space Station
  • We sleep in sleeping bags located in small crew cabins, attached to walls.
  • There is no Refrigeration. All foods have to be freeze dried or vacuum packed
  • correct!
  • Astronauts wash their hair with a "rinseless" shampoo. Many astronauts have a personal hygiene kit. The kit contains the items they chose to take like toothpaste.
  • I also heard that they take part in medical experiments to determine how well their bodies are adjusting to living in microgravity for long periods of time.
  • The station crew spends their day working on science experiments that require their input
  • How do astronauts use the bathroom on the ISS? The astronauts have to position themselves on the toilet seat using leg restraints. The toilet works like a vacuum cleaner with fans that suck air and waste. Each astronaut has a urinal funnel that has to be attached to the hose's adapter. Fans suck air and urine through the funnel. Microgravity is a disadvantage to them.
  • Astronauts have not yet discovered me. However it is possible that they can, one day on the ISS-From ALIEN
