- The French and Indian war forced England to be low on money in response to this is how the taxes on the colonies began.
- Battle of Lexington and Concord
- The Boston Tea Party was a raid at the Boston Harbor in rebellion to taxation without representation when people dressed up and acted like native americans as they dumped a lot of tea into the Boston Harbor.
- Sugar Act
- The Stamp Act is a tax on every legal document in the colonies this made the colonists angry they felt that the british had not right to do this.
- Quarterning Act
- The British went to Lexington and Concord to take hold of colonists weapons but instead started a battle and what would lead to the Revolutionary War.
- The sugar Act did many things including prohibiting foreign alcohol, and molasses to be imported to the colonies, it also made higher tax duties upsetting the colonists.
- The quartering Act force many american colonies to provide food, shelter, fuel, and transportation to the British people that were in their towns.
