- Hm... I lost this election to that Jefferson... Now I should think about how to put more Federalists into this government before it goes to his hands!
- I've got it! I'll create more judge positions and fill them with Federalists judges!
- Marshall, I'm going to move your position to Chief Justice of Supreme Court soon. Before that, make sure to send out all the commissions to the midnight judges I appointed.
- Oh no! I ran out of time! I have to move to my new position and I haven't finished delivering all of these commissions... I know, I'll just leave the remaining seventeen to Madison. I'm sure he'll finish my job as the Secretary of State!
