- When I was born, back in 1970, it was just me, my mom and my dad. We lived in Tehran, Iran. Our house was normal and we were an average Iranian family. My mom stayed at home while my dad was working at the Keyhan as a journalist. Everything was pretty normal…
- I am so excited for my Physics class today!
- 5 years after my birth, my dad was taken to prison because of the articles he wrote in the Keyhan. Then it was just me and my mom.
- You won't believe what I learned at school today, dad!
- I had to grow up at a young age because I had to help my mom since there were only the two of us at home. However, I am not complaining because at the age of 7 I learned how to make the most delicious dizi.
- Dear Dad,I miss you so much! ...
- My father was a very intelligent man, so I wanted to be just like him. I never missed a day at school. I loved school because I was able to escape reality and feel like a normal kid for a few hours a day.
- Occasionally, mom would take me to visit dad at prison. I showed him projects I had made and shared with him every exciting thing I had learned that day. During the visits, mom would only stay back and smile…
- When we were not able to visit dad, I would write him letters and I would always tell him that I missed him.
