- Oh no! Things seem to be getting tense between French and Britain as they compete for control in North America. This is not going to end too well.
- Is that so? I have a feeling you are being a bit too overconfident.
- We may have ended this war with the Treaty of Ryswick, but mark my words, we will gain ultimate control in the colonies.
- That sure was a bold move by the French. I doubt the British are going to take this fort situation well.
- Look at all those French forts. I sure don't appreciate them blocking our westward growth.

- What the colonists are saying makes sense. I don't think anyone would want to risk their autonomous governments, so I suppose the plan is not going to cut it.

- We don't think this plan will give us enough independence.
