- PROJECT 2: THE CREATIVE PROCESS
- FOR PROJECT TWO YOU WILL HAVE TO THINK OF A PROBLEM AND THEN A SOLUTION! BE CREATIVE!!
- HMMM THE WEATHER CHANGES SO MUCH THROUGHOUT THE DAY THAT IT LOOKS LIKE STUDENTS ARE HAVING TO TAKE THE TIME TO GO CHANGE JUST TO BE COMFORTABLE.

- Hey, do you guys mind if I ask you some questions about the weather for my ESP project?

- SURE!
- It's so stressful because what if I don't have time to change between classes!
- It's always so hard deciding what to wear because I never know how the weather will change
- I get anxious that I might not be wearing the "right thing"
- What if it rains?!
- It is SO cold in the morning
- I wish it wasn't so complicated
- The worst is sweating during class because of how man layers you had to wear to walk there.
- I'm from California, Ohio weather is so confusing
- Repeat process 3-4 more time on different people to get as many answers as possible.
- Forming insights and coming up with possible solutions
- After coming up with insights on what I THOUGHT the consumer wanted I believed that I had come up with the perfect solution.
- My FIRST Idea
- I would create an app that not only said the weather, but tracked temperatures inside classrooms and gave outfit suggestions
- I thought it was the perfect idea, so I stopped thinking further outside the box, this limiting my potential
- Until, I started listening to the advice I was getting from my HW submissions
- Katie: It's a good idea but needs to be more creative, keeping thinking further
- Katie: Make sure this app stands out from other weather apps!
- I had to reevaluate my research and listen to what people were saying, not what I wanted to hear.
- Oh....well what figuring out what to wear isn't so much the problem as much as not having the right thing to wear...

- I noticed that most students, regardless of the weather wore Miami gear

- Which got me thinking again...
- What if there was college gear that could adapt to the weather?
- LEADING ME TO MY FINAL PRODUCT...
- Customized college sweatshirts that have heating and cooling pads in them, they adujst to one's body temperature so students no longer have to change between class - and they are spirited!!!
- Can also be worn to school events so students are spirited but warm!
- Can be made for any school
- Gender Neautral

- Easy to throw on if running late for class
- Automatically heats up when body is cold and vise versa!
- WHAT I LEARNED
- 1. Never stop after your first idea 2. Actually listen to people, they might not want what you want 3. There is no such thing as too much research 4. If people are giving you advice, take it, ignoring other peoples opinions will only hurt you 5. Don't be afraid to take risks. Think of the crazy and BE BOLD
