- Your own niece is a witch
- Join us and kill the witch!
- Judith and Kit both get a mysterious illness. They recover, and the fever does not hit them as hard. Mercy falls seriously ill, and Matthew searches the bible for hope.
- With Mercy very sick, Matthew is delighted to see Dr. Bulkeley. Bulkeley tries a new remedy that includes a poultice of cooked onions.
- Our House!
- An angry mob comes to enlist Matthew Wood's help. They think Hannah is the person responsible for the plague. Good Wife Cruff and a few other women think that Kit is a witch and is causing the illness as well.
- I won't go without my cat.
- Kit arrives at Hannah's before the mob does and there is not a moment to spare. They escape to safety just as the mob comes.
- The angry mob burns down Hanna's house as she and Kit hid behind some logs.
- Kit and Hannah make it to the Dolphin. Kit asks Nat to keep Hannah on board and take of her. Before Hannah leaves, she begs for her cat. Nat retrieves the cat. He then asks Kit to leave with him and even offers to take her to Barbados but she refuses. Kit needs to know if Mercy is well.
