- Sorry man, that must've really hurt.
- OW why does that hurt so much anyway?
- Well, you're feeling pain because of your Nervous System
- What's the Nervous System?
- The NS is made up of the central nervous system and the peripheral system.
- The Nervous System is the network of nerve cells which sends nerve impulses between different parts of the body.
- What are those?

- The PNS includes all the other nervous system tissue such as all the sensory receptors, sensory neurons, and motor neurons.
- Your brain and spinal cord make up your CNS. Your brain uses your nerves to send messages to the rest of your body.
- What exactly does the NS do?
- It helps all the parts of the body communicate with one another
- So when you got hit on the head with the ball, your body instinctively grabber your head because of the pain
