- This is showing how Montague and Capulet hate each other but their children love each other. So the two families love but hate each other.
- This event ruined all of the Friar and Juliet's plans and messed up all the timings they set up. Eventually in then end it led to the death of Romeo and Juliet.
- This scene shows how the theme of fate or chance, it was truly unfortunate encounter that easily could or could not of happened. It was completely be by chance or up to fate.
