Soon after the French and Indian war, The British were left with a great debt to pay. They borrowed a lot of money from other countries to fight the war. Parliament decided to use the colonies to pay the debt.
We shall pass laws like the the Sugar Act, the Tea Act and stop them from trading with other countries to bring us money!
However, the colonists were not happy with their new taxes. They started to protest by boycotting British goods and demanding that these new laws be repealed. In Boston, they started to pelt the British soldiers with rocks demanding that the taxes be removed.
Take all tax laws off!
The British redcoats fired into the mob. In the original scene, the redcoats panicked as the mob threw rocks at them. Paul Revere was watched The Boston Massacre and being a silversmith, made an engraving of The Boston Massacre and sent it throughout the colonies.
