  • Hey Jill, let's go to the Braves game!
  • Okay Jack, that seems like fun!
  • Narration: Due to the truck in front of Jack and Jill's car stopping abruptly, Jack had to stop their car abruptly too. Luckily, they both had their seatbelts on that kept their inertia (something that stays in its constant state of rest or motion) constant with the car and stopped them from from flying forward, or even worse, flying out the window!
  • In a baseball game, the main portion is hitting the ball with a bat. Since the baseball has a small mass and inertia, I can use my maximum force to accelerate as fast I can over the wall to get a homerun. The less the mass, the more the acceleration. More force= more acceleration!
  • Also, every action has a reaction. By that, I mean that when me hitting the ball with my bat (action), the reaction will be that the ball goes flying in the air to whatever direction I hit it to. It isn't in equilibrium though, which is why the ball flies out while the bat stays in one place.
  • Fine by me, I definitely second this notion Jill!
  • Now that the game is over and the braves won, I'm ready to go home. I'M BEAT!
  • THE END
