Storyboard Text

  • Social and Economic Class inequalities
  • By: Caleigh Cuviello
  • Take the nickel!
  • No!
  • There are different economic classes, in Maycomb, this is just a look into some.
  • Slut!
  • This is just part of the Cunninghams family. They are poor, but good people. They are also proud people, they never take anything they know they can't pay back. When Walter was offered a quarter from Miss Caroline, he declined, even though he knew he had no lunch
  • This is my only day of school.
  • On the other hand you have the wealthier Finches, this is the narrator's family. They are good people, who have more because they were some of the first to come to the land.
  • The End
  • You also have the Ewells, they have 8 kids and live on very little. To them farm work is more import then school because they need to money. They are rude people as well. Like when one of the kids called Miss Calrina a Slut.
  • Atticus Finch is seen as more seen as morally sound because of his moeny while the Ewells are perceived as ingonroat and temperamental. Like when the Ewells wouldn't stay in school.
  • Think about how this will effect things later on in the book due to this theme.
