Act 3 - Scene 1 Tybalt and Mercutio get into a fight on the bus, which ends up hurting Mercutio really bad. Romeo then gets mad at Tybalt and fights him. Romeo and Tybalt's fight ends with Tybalt getting severely injured and Romeo getting expelled from school.
Act 3 - Scene 2 Juliet's step mom tells Juliet about the fight between her cousin Tybalt and her boyfriend Romeo. Juliet gets upset because of her cousin's injuries and the fact that her boyfriend is now expelled from their school. Juliet then sends her step mom with a note for Romeo for her to deliver to him.
Act 3 - Scene 3 Romeo and his uncle, Lawrence, talk about Romeo's penalty for fighting on the bus. Romeo becomes upset at the fact that he'll no longer be able to see Juliet at school, but his mood quickly changes for the better when Juliet's step mom comes over and delivers a note from Juliet to him.
Act 3 - Scene 4 Juliet's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Capulet, speak to Paris. They want Paris to date Juliet because they think that he'd treat her well. Mr. Capulet wants Paris to ask her out as soon as possible, because he doesn't want anything like what happened to Tybalt on the bus to happen to Paris nor Juliet.
Act 3 - Scene 5 (pt. 1) Romeo and Juliet speak in Juliet's bedroom just before Romeo has to go to school to talk to the principal about his expelling. They're both sad that they have to part ways, but Romeo promises her that they'll see each other again soon.
Act 3 - Scene 5 (pt. 2) Mrs. Capulet goes to tell Juliet of her father's plans to have her and Paris date. Juliet is appalled and surprised--she refuses to date him. Mr. Capulet becomes angry once he hears of her reaction, and tells her that if she doesn't date him, he's going to take her phone away.
