- "Johnny can't go to jail"
- What are we going to do Dally?
- Johnny you killed one of the socs!
- I'm going to become a spy for you guys
- Dally I'm going to turn my self in
- Johnny I don't wan't you to go to jail like I did.
- Johnny kills one of the socs out of anger and self defense. Johnny was reluctant.
- Fearlessly and gallantly agerly Cherry decides to help them by becoming a spy. The soc that Johnny killed was her boyfriend and he was drunk that night.
- Johnny realizes he can't hide from his mistakes. So he tells Ponyboy and Dally he will turn himself in
- Ponyboy, I thought I'd lose you like mom and dad.
- As the greases were driving back from dairy queen, they see the church on fire. Without thinking they get to the church fast and swiftly to save the children in the building.
- "Ponyboy Don't go in there , those kids are better off
- Ponyboy is able to save all the kids but gets severely injured. So the Chaperone Jerry Wood calls an ambulance.
- Ponyboy gets out of the hospital and sees both of his brothers. He goes to sodapop. But he realizes that Darry cares about him and that all the times he got yelled at was because Dally cared about him
