- One-day Jesus and his disciples were in a boat next to a small hill. Jesus said to his disciples I want to go pray, stay in the boat and I will be back later.
- Jesus prayed on the mountain for a while and the disciples waited in the boat which was slowly getting further away from land.
- Later that night Jesus was finished praying and the boat was a long way from land so he made his way to the boat... By walking on the water!
- As Jesus approached the boat the disciples were shocked saying "It's a ghost", and panicking. Jesus said "do not be afraid it is, I Jesus".
- Peter did not trust that this was Jesus so he said "Lord, help me walk on water". Jesus said "Come" and Peter got out of the boat but he stared sinking. He cried "Lord save me!" Jesus pulled Peter out of the water and put him back in the boat.
- Then Jesus asked, "Peter why do you have so little trust in me", I will always be here for you. After that his disciples knew that Jesus was the Son of God and the Saviour of the World.
