- The fire makes the ballon rise
- It makes the air warm and less dense than the colder more denser air on the outside of the balloon
- The warm air molecules push on the inside of the balloon to fill the volume
- The wind is able to move the balloon so you're not stuck in one place
- As you want to come back lower to the ground make the fire smaller, so the molecules are more dense and fall.
