- Sona is at the supermarket
- She asks the cashier how much money it all costs
- She understands that he is asking for 20 dirhams and 50 fils
- Idea!
- She wants to buy a bottle of milk,two eggs and a frozen pizza for dinner
- She is able to give the cashier the right amount of money
- He says it costs 12.50 dirhams in total
- After she made the pizza she had to divide the pizza equally for her family
- This is because it is separated by a dot so it means that it is a decimal!
- The pizza is divided into 6 pieces which is perfect for Sona's 3 member family as each member can eat 2 slices!
- Then she goes home and starts to prepare the pizza
- Her son quickly remembers what his teacher taught him in the lesson Fractions and divides the pizza equally
- The family has had a great dinner thanks to the help of MATHS!
