- Early Roman Wars of Foreign Conquests
- There are 2 twins, Romulus and Remus, who were raised by wolves. Romulus killed Remus and named his city Rome. that is how Rome supposedly started.
- Julius Caesar
- The Roman people established a government called a republic. There are 3 parts to the Republic, the Assembly, the Senate, and the Consuls. The Assembly represents the citizens, the Senate which is and advisory to the consuls, and the consuls administer the governnment and the army.
- The Early Roman Empire
- In 270 B.C, Rome conquered all Greek cities. Then, the Punic wars began. There were 3 of them. Rome won all of them against Carthage.
- Caesar Augustus and Pax Romana
- Julius Caesar conquered many places for Rome. He did so many good things and created the Julian calendar. Sadly, the Senate killed him for some reason.
- Antony and Octavian fought for the emperors seat. Antony committed suicide with Cleopatra. Octavian became Caesar Augustus and bacame the emperor.
- Caesar Augustus created the Pax Romana. The Pax Romana was 200 years of peace and prosperity. while this was happening, Augustus made fair taxes and roads for traveling.
