- Both Elya and Igor want to marry Myra. Myra's dad tells them whoever brings him the best pig can marry her.
- Elya talks to Madame Zeroni asking how can he beat Igor. Madame Zeroni can tell Elya is sad so she gives him a piglet and tells him he must carry the pig up the mountain to drink from the stream while singing a song. He also had to promise to carry her up the mountain for a drink one day and sing the song.
- Elya decided to go to the USA. He remembered he forgot to take keep his promise to take Madam Zeroni up the mountain.
- Elya met and married Susan Millerin the America. His barn burndown forthe 3rd time due to the curse. He explained to his wife how he got cursed.
- Everyday Elya carried the pig up the mountain to drink from the stream. As the pig got bigger, Elya got stronger. Myra's 15th birthday was the last day he had to carry the pig up the mountain. He didn't do it. He went to Myra's house .
- Both pigs were the same size, Myra's dad didn't care, so Elya said to let Myra decide. Myra couldn't dedide so she said - pick a number and whoever guesses wins. This made Elya give up and he left.
- Elya was sad Myra didn't like him like he like her so he thought maybe Madem Zeroni was right and Myra was an empty headed flowerpot.
- Susan asked him to sing the song about the pig. "If only, if only, the woodpecker sighs, the bark on the tree was as soft as the skies. While the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely, crying to the moon. If only, if only."
