  • The British Would march in a line until a command to "Ready, Aim, Fire!" These were rules that the British thought everyone in war should follow.
  • French Fighting
  • However, this caused many lives to be lost. Reloading their guns took a while, and while that was happening, the other team was shooting.
  • French Fighting
  • The British fought in a European style, and wore bright red coats, which were easily seen by their enemies at all times.
  • French Fighting
  • The French had a different way of fighting, because they knew they would not get anywhere standing in lines and shooting.  
  • The French hid behind trees and used the land to help them surprise the British.  This way the British didn't know where the bullets were coming from and couldn't defend themselves.
  • The French relied on camouflage to to blend in with the environment so the enemies would not spot them.
