One is alive! I will go rescue it and give it to fishmother
how come the rest of these peeps are so quiet
"You must come with me, you are no longer safe here." I will take you to Lothian."
"What? Why? I don't understand. Why is there firing coming from your hand?!"
"This is your son Mordred, Queen Morgause."
"Didn't Arthur send him off to die with the rest of them?"
Wait a minute... DEAD?!
Fishfather comes to rescue Mordred, who was sent off on a boat to die with 40 other babies. All the babies were dead except Mordred, who had a scar on the back of his ear. Fishfather brings Mordred home to Fishmother where he begins to grow up.
"I must defeat my fate to save King Arthur and my soul."
Some years later.... A sorceress named Nyneve comes to take Mordred to Lothian, where his real mother lived to keep him safe from Morgan Le Fay. She demonstrates that she is a sorceress by making a flame come out of her hand. Mordred is very confused and fascinated, but goes with her on their journey.
The Bird Cage
"Nooo, Nyneve and Gull."
Sqwak, you can't fight the fate, sqwak
Mordred and Nyneve are in the Castle of Lothian and he meets his mother, Queen Morgause. Mordred finds out that King Arthur is his father and sent him off on a boat to die when he was a baby. Mordred also finds out that he was supposed to die because he was considered evil and the scar behind his ear was proof.
The Final Fight
"I'm sorry my son."
Mordred finds out that he was predicted to kill Arthur, but after meeting Arthur he goes on a quest with his dog Gull, who has the spirit of Nyneve, to fight his fate to save his soul and Arthur.
I believe in you!
During Mordred's quest he comes across a bird cage with a bird playing a harp inside and Mordred lets the bird out of the cage. Gull and Nyneve drop dead and the bird was Merlin showing Mordred what happens when you try to change fate.
During the fight, Mordred takes a swing at Arthur's neck, but doesn't kill him. Mordred then pulls the sword that Arthur was holding into his stomach. Mordred technically didn't fulfill the prophecy because he didn't kill King Arthur. Arthur ends up granting Mordred's long term wish by calling him son before he died.
