- We need to build the fastest and most reliable ship for the union navy.

- It was a normal evening for Vanderbilt as he was just hanging out with his family getting when he got and urgent call from the president Abraham Lincoln. He rushed over to the Whitehouse and Lincoln told him that he wanted a steamboat to chase down the confederates if they try to leave.

- As soon as Vanderbilt got home that night he immediately started drawing concepts of the ship and he had a perfect design that he was going to start building first thing in the morning. In the morning he went to his favorite worker and told him the design and the worker agreed and every single worker that worked for Vanderbilt was now working on this ship.
- Vanderbilt's workers worked long hours and in 2 weeks they had completed the steamship for the Union navy. Vanderbilt was proud of his workers and the shipped worked very well and now it was time to see if the president likes it and if the navy will like it to add to their fleet.
- The next day Vanderbilt took the ship to the navy and the navy loved it and decided to add it to their fleet so that they can catch the confederates because this was the fasted steamship on the water.
- The next day a Union spy overheard that a group of confederate raiders were going to be trying to attack Rhode Island by water and were going to try and push inland to take the capitol so the Union set up the Vanderbilt and once they saw the confederates there was nowhere that they could go because the Vanderbilt was too fast so they caught up to them and used the lasers that the workers secretly added and made a whole in the ship and they started to sink and saved Rhode Island from having to fight and losing many lives.
