  • King Louis and Marie Antoinette are married 
  • BREAD FOR SALE 
  • France's people start to become agitated. 
  • I'm sorry guys but you don't have enough money to buy this bread anymore. 
  • Tennis Court Oath
  • declaration of rights to man
  • On May 16, 1770, Marie and Louis get married both at the age of only 15. 
  • Enlightenment
  • Boooo!
  • France financed the American War as well as their Seven Year War that was in progress People started experiencing tougher times and bread prices went up which was all the poor people ate: bread. But now could barely be able to pay for that while the King and Queen sat up in comfort. These were some points that really made the people of France mad, leading to about everything else that comes after this.
  • Attack on the Bastille 
  • The deputies of France went to the Tennis Courts to pronounce an oath that they would never stop fighting for the peoples rights.
  • The Death Of The King and Queen
  • When hard times truck the poor, they developed an anger towards the King and Queen. With this they realized the ideas of Enlightment and what it really meant. They couldn't depend on the King and Queen to help them, they had to do something about them themselves. 
  • The Bastille in Paris, France was looted by its angry people on July 14, 1789. The Bastille was built to protect the people of France during the wars, It held gunpowder for fighting. This act of terrorism on the French government kicked off the start of the French Revolution. 
  • Yeah!
  • Lets loot this place!
  • King Louis, the last king of France, was killed by guillotine on Janurary 21st, 1793 because the people saw him as a traitor. Marie was also executed that year on October 16, 1793, her last child was taken from her around that time.
