  • This was such a good plan
  • Russia called for help at the same time the Canadians were needing to test equipment. The raid was planned mostly by the Canadians though there were a few allied countries involved, including 1,000 British commanders and 50 American Rangers.
  • Devastation
  • The allied countries arrived on November 19th 1992.The main attack occurred on a pebble beach in front of the town of Dieppe, France. There were four different attacks. The first troops arrived on boats.
  • After the Raid
  • The Germans were positioned in the clifftops above the beach preparing for the Canadians.
  • Lessons learned
  • We will need to have a different plan for next time.
  • That was devastating!!!

  • The soldiers were devastated upon arrival. The Germans were very prepared therefore they destroyed the allied countries.
  • After the war, over 900 Canadian people died and thousands wounded.
  • The Canadian Army was devastated after the raid. They learned what they would not do again in a battle.
