- Abe Lincoln win the Presidential Election and becomes the 16th president of the United States
- He's gonna take away our slaves!
- The Battle of Fort Sumter
- We must secede from the Union, we don't deserve the mistreatment just because we use slaves.
- The U.S. soldiers must stay in the south!
- They are NOT allowed to secede, we MUST preserve the union!
- If we can't have our slaves, we will fight until we are equal!
- The Battle of Fort Sumter happened in started on April 12, 1861. The Confederates patrolled the area where the first shots were fired. This was an advantage for the south because it created a whole in the Union and blocked the Atlantic seaport.
